Yahaira Cespedes intertwines her love of words, passion for research, and realistic optimism into freelance publishing.
Yahaira has published more than 30 feature articles for an international pet-care website. She has also created entrepreneur profiles for a Wikipedia-esque online site. Her latest article about a South Florida burlesque troupe is currently available online at a British vintagemagazine and website.
In print, Yahaira has written business reviews for a South Florida newspaper and has created promotional tag lines for a yoga center. Part of her publishing repertoire includes in-house medical editorial assistance, researching for vetting purposes, and experience with reprints permissions.
Yahaira is fluent in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. She teaches English as a second language (ESL) to Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking students, for which she received the New Teacher Award in June 2012 by popular vote from her peers. When she’s not reading or exploring her culinary interests as an amateur foodie, Yahaira uses her writing to make the world a better place, one word at a time.
